A chairde, I would like to extend a massive thanks to everyone who took part in Rith 2012. Cairde Teo deeply appreciate your support for our national language. Rith is an absolutely inspirational festival and I hope that you enjoyed it as much as we did. It struck me that our community values the Irish language so much and we were inspired by the number of children and young people who took part in the Rith. It is clear that the future of the Irish language is safe in your hands and that the people of County Armagh are very proud of our language, our culture and our identity as Gaels and as Irish men and women. Thank you all very much for your support.

Ba mhaith liomsa buíochas a ghabháil le gach duine a ghlac páirt san fhéile Rith 2012. Ba mhór agamsa agus ag Cairde Teo an tacaíocht a thug sibh dár dteanga náisiúnta. Féile inspioráideach atá sa Rith agus tá súil agam gur bhain sibh an oiread suilt as agus a bhain muid féin. Rith sé liom gur tábhachtach linn mar phobal teanga na nGael a bheith i mbéal an phobail agus bhí lúcháir orm an oiread daoine óga a fheiceáil ag glacadh páirte sa Rith. Is léir go bhfuil todhchaí na Gaeilge slán agus go bhfuil muintir Ard Mhacha iontach bródúil as ár dteanga, as ár gcultúr agus as ár bhféiniúlacht mar Ghaeil agus mar Éireannaigh. Míle buíochas ó chroí libh uilig.

Go raibh míle maith agaibh,
Seán Ó Maoilsté
Cairde Teo, Ard Mhacha

Dear Members, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a happy and peaceful New Year. The 2011 year presented us as a Club, and as members with many challenges both on and off the field. We not only overcame the challenges, we surpassed all our goals with underage football success, Development work at our club and field, a summer festival to mention a few highlights.

I want to thank each and every one for their efforts, from the footballers to the managers, Committee members to members, parents and guardians as well as Sponsors and everyone else who has contributed to the Club during the year. Your hard work and dedication throughout the year is very much appreciated by the whole community and without your efforts we would not be making the strides we are currently taking.

I will leave you with a couple of quotes I recently came across which express better what I want to say.

"Volunteers don't get paid, not because they're worthless, but because they're priceless"

"Volunteers do not necessarily have the time; they just have the heart"

Is mise le meas

Eamonn Fearon
